02Data
What we collect and why
Enquiries and quotation requests
When you submit an enquiry we process your name, company, job title, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method and language, together with the technical description of your project and any files you attach. We use this to assess the request, prepare a method statement or quotation and contact you about it.
Attachments
Files you upload are stored in a private storage location that is not publicly accessible. Internal access links are time-limited and expire after fourteen days. Drawings and technical documents are only retained beyond assessment if you explicitly consent to retention for project preparation.
Applications
For job applications we process your CV, certificates, diving medical validity and references in order to assess suitability and, where relevant, keep your profile on file for future scopes.
Technical data
We log limited technical data with submissions — such as browser user agent and an anonymised sender fingerprint — solely to prevent abuse and automated spam submissions.
03Legal basis
Why processing is lawful
- Performance of a contract, or steps prior to entering one
- Legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries
- Legitimate interest in preventing abuse of our forms
- Consent, where you agree to retention of technical documents
- Legal obligation, where retention is required by law

Recipients and storage periods
Who receives your data
Enquiries are routed internally to the operating company or discipline concerned, so the request can be assessed by the right team. We also use processors for hosting, database storage and email delivery, acting on our instructions under a data-processing agreement. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and for the period required for commercial and legal record-keeping. Attachment access links expire after fourteen days. Applications are retained for a limited period unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
International transfers
Data is processed within the European Union or under safeguards recognised under EU data protection law where a processor operates elsewhere.
