The group
A European underwater services group, coordinated from Antwerp
Underwater Solutions Group brings specialist diving, inspection, repair, salvage and ROV companies together within one coordinated structure, so asset owners can prepare complex underwater works through a single point of contact.
01Purpose
Why the group exists
Underwater work sits at the point where marine operations, civil structures and industrial assets meet. It has to be carried out while ports keep operating, vessels keep trading and water keeps moving — usually with limited visibility and a narrow working window.
Individual specialist companies do this work well, but asset owners increasingly need more than one discipline and more than one country at a time. The group exists to coordinate that: one enquiry, a clear allocation of the work to the company best placed to execute it, and a consistent way of documenting the result.
The operating companies keep their own identity, personnel and regional knowledge. What the group adds is coordination of preparation, mobilisation and reporting across them.
02Operating principles
How we work
Method before mobilisation
Every scope starts with a written method statement and a task-specific risk assessment for the structure, vessel or incident concerned.
Work around live operations
Berths, locks, intakes and vessels generally cannot stop. Sequencing, exclusion zones and permits are agreed with the operator before entry.
Document what was seen
Findings are recorded against a sectioned structure with video and photographic evidence where visibility allows, so surveys stay comparable over time.
Report in one structure
Reporting follows a shared format across the group, so multi-site programmes can be read as one asset record.
